Simple, smooth Nutella Hot Chocolate rushes to make cup of paradise!
Needing to make hot cocoa on a-cold-and-ohsomiserable-Melbourne-blustery day, this rung a bell. How? Truly, I have no clue. In any case, the words chocolate and Nutella anomaly of nature ring a bell.
Appreciating those chocolate chips that had liquefied through the hot cocoa, and licking the smooth marshmallows that had gone to a thick foamy cream, while crunching on those hazelnuts and tasting on this hot cocoa… I saw paradise.
All joking aside, this rushed to make. I wasn't done licking the Nutella off the spoon before this transformed into a confounding free for all, my heart nearly halted from an excessive amount of fervor.

INGREDIENTS
Nutella Hot Chocolate
- 4 cups low fat/skim milk
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Optional Toppings:
- Marshmallows
- Crushed hazelnuts
- Chocolate chips
- Extra Nutella
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat milk in a medium sized saucepan on medium-high heat until beginning to warm and steam. Add the spread, cocoa powder and sugar, and whisk until dissolved and combined. Bring to a gentle simmer while stirring, and take off heat.
- Serve with your desired toppings.
